چکیده
In this paper the identification of SISO Wiener models in presence of bounded output noise is considered. A three stage procedure based on the inner signal estimation, outlined in a previous contribution, has been proposed. Results and algorithms for the computation of inner-signal bounds through the design of a suitable input sequence have been provided for the case of polynomial without invertibility assumptions. A simulated example, showing the effectiveness of the proposed approach, has been presented. Copyright c ©2005 IFAC

Identification of Hammerstein-Wiener models
This paper develops and illustrates a new maximum-likelihood based method for the identification of Hammerstein–Wiener model structures. A central aspect is that a very general situation is considered wherein multivariable data, non-invertible Hammerstein and Wiener nonlinearities, and coloured stochastic disturbances both before and after the Wiener nonlinearity are all catered for. The method...
متن کاملParametric Versus Nonparametric Approach to Wiener Systems Identification
The problem of nonlinear dynamic systems modelling by means of block-oriented models has been strongly elaborated for the last four decades, due to vast variety of applications. The concept of block-oriented models assumes that the real plant, as a whole, can be treated as a system of interconnected blocks, static nonlinearities (N) and linear dynamics (L), where the interaction signals cannot ...
متن کاملMATLAB Software for Recursive Identification of Wiener Systems – Revision
This reports is intended as a users manual for a package of MATLAB scripts and functions, developed for recursive prediction error identification of discrete time nonlinear Wiener systems and nonlinear static systems. Wiener systems consist of linear dynamics in cascade with a static nonlinearity. The core of the package is an implementation of 9 recursive SISO output error identification algor...
متن کاملIdentification of Wiener Systems With Known Noninvertible Nonlinearities
In this paper we develop a method for identifying SISO Wiener-type nonlinear systems, that is, systems consisting of a linear dynamic system followed by a static nonlinearity. Unlike previous techniques developed for Wiener system identification, our approach allows the identification of systems with nonlinearities that are known but not necessarily invertible, continuous, differentiable, or an...
متن کاملComputational complexity analysis of set membership identification of Hammerstein and Wiener systems
This paper analyzes the computational complexity of set membership identification of Hammerstein and Wiener systems. Its main results show that, even in cases where a portion of the plant is known, the problems are generically NP-hard both in the number of experimental data points and in the number of inputs (Wiener) or outputs (Hammerstein) of the nonlinearity. These results provide new insigh...
